Kyoko Terada

Ms. Terada began dancing at the age of seven and formally trained in classical ballet at the Pacific Northwest Ballet in Seattle and the Tokyo Ballet, eventually becoming an apprentice at the Tokyo Ballet.  Mr. Terada was introduced to the art of flamenco while living in Spain and upon her return to the U.S. began her studies in Washington, DC with such notable teachers as La Tati, Omayra Amaya, and Edwin Aparicio. 

 

Ms. Terada has performed in theaters and tablaos throughout the Washington, DC and Miami metro areas, and has toured within the United States.  Kyoko Terada travels to Spain annually to continue perfecting her skills and in the past has studied with Belén Maya, Rafaela Carrasco, Manolete, and Andrés Marín, among others.
