Irene La Sentío
Irene La Sentio was introduced to Flamenco dance under the tutelage of Juan de los Reyes and Juana Amaya. She went on to train with many of the greatest Flamenco dancers of her time such as Antonio Canales, the Farruco Family, Fuensata La Moneta and Adela Campallo. She quickly became known for the tenacity and power of her dancing, as well as her natural talent for expressing emotion, which led to La Farrruca bestowing upon her the nickname "La Sentio".

Her career continued to develope in the Penas Flamencas of the Andalusian capital of Sevilla, leading to her being honored as a finalist in the International Festival of Cantes de las Minas de la Union in 2008.

With La Farruca and Farruquito as her artistic "Godparents", she participated in important productions in festivals such as La Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla, in which she performed for the first time in 2010 in "Sonerias", securing for her a reputation with the critics and public as a promising figure for the future of authentic Flamenco, along with opportunities to work in productions such as "Baile Flamenco".

La Sentio went on to debut her own production: "De mi Faldiquera" which launched an ongoing international career of touring with such great dancers as Farruco, Oscar de los Reyes, Sergio Aranda and Jairo Barrull, as well as invitations to perform at major international Flamenco Festivals such as Monte de Marsan, El Festival Flamenco de Roma, La Bienal de Arte Flamenco de Malaga, El Festival Flamenco de Ibiza and La Citada Bienal.
Inspirated to stretch the boundaries of her work, she collaborated in new projects with Tito Losada, la Orquestra Chekara de Tetuan, Jaco Abel and the pianist Miriam Mendez.

She soon began to share her artistry as an instructor, teaching courses in Spain as well as Greece, Italy, France and Canada.

When she is not touring internationally, La Sentio is a regular performer at the most important Tablaos (Flamenco Clubs) in Sevilla-El Arenal, Museo del Baile Flamenco and Casa de la Memoria, Barcelona-Tablao Cordobes, Tablao de Carmen and Los Tarantos and Madrid-Villa-Rosa, Las Carboneras, Casa Patas and Cardamomo.
