Ballet Flamenco La Rosa presents Senorita Julia, an original Flamenco Theatre work by Ilisa Rosal, on 5/23/26 at 8PM and 5/24/2026 at 3 PM. Inspired by Strindberg's Miss Julie, this group of world class artists from Spain, Latin America and the U.S. use the magnificent art of flamenco to interpret this iconic play.
In this deeply emotional and dramatic story, the characters struggle with trauma, love, passion, desire, societal constraints and expectations, classism, and survival. Flamenco, with its fierce athleticism, breathtaking footwork, gorgeous line and movement, and exquisite music, is a perfect language to interpret this timeless and universal work

Ballet Flamenco La Rosa is a professional Flamenco company,
based in Miami, Florida and made up of dancers and musicians
from Spain, Latin America and the U.S.
The company offers a wide range of pure flamenco programs,
as well as cutting-edge fusion works, collaborations,
and dramatic Flamenco Ballets.
In addition to its concert season, Ballet Flamenco La Rosa offers performances year round for all types of public and private events,
as well as classes in Flamenco dance, vocals and guitar, as well as Ballet, Acting and Haitian Dance for children, teens and adults at all levels.
